Very nice growth and very nice textures in all of these plants.
The rock in the center is very distracting. The transition from foreground to background is too abrupt. The composition is unbalanced. |

Very nice Iwagumi dominated by stem plants that is very creative! A better transistion/midground from the glosso to the red Rotala would have improved the layout and the Vallis nana does little to add anything. The main stone is very central but the dominating red plants provide ideal focal points. Well done! |

Un très joli Iwagumi dominé par les plantes à tiges, ce qui est très créatif. Une meilleure transition (centre) de la Glosso vers la Rotala rouge aurait amélioré le layout. Pour ma part, les Vallisneria nana n'ajoutent rien. La pierre est vraiment positionnée centralement, mais les plantes rouges apportent d'autres points focaux qui rééquilibrent ce positionnement. Serenity in a tank... 182 liters dedicated to characidae... I see that some of you have a real interest for these fishes, making stars of them, instead of their usual role of "you must have a fish in it". If the layout is quite classical, the whole is pleasant, especially when the plants are so beautifull. The aquascaper had the good taste to skillfully combine the different colours, without any discordance. Which is not that easy. You can easily see the care given to the plants. That brings a very nice aesthetic aspect. Congrats. Nothing to say on fishes which are in an adequate number, which allows a nice balance of the tank. Nice job. |

Quelle sérénité dans cet aquarium... 182 litres principalement réservés à des Characidés, on constate un certain engouement pour ces poissons qui deviennent des stars, eux qui sont d'habitude relégués au rang de "sardines accompagnatrices" dans bien des bacs. De quoi créer des vocations !
Si la composition est classique, l'ensemble est particulièrement agréable, d'autant que les végétaux sont de toute beauté. L'auteur a eu aussi le bon goût de combiner intelligemment les différentes teintes, sans que cela soit choquant. C'est un exercice difficile. On constate aisément le soin particulier qui est apporté aux plantes, avec de fréquents élagages notamment qui permettent de garder un aquarium esthétique. Félicitations.
Rien à dire sur les poissons qui sont en petit nombre, permettant un bon équilibre du bac sans trop d'interventions (c'est relatif, bien sûr !). Encore bravo.
