This is fundamentally a good aquascape. The hardscape and planting are well chosen and laid out but the whole layout would benefit from some clever pruning i.e. having the plants form a V-shape. The midground is also a little weak. I would like to see this in a few more months once the moss has grown in and after a good trim. Super effort for your first time - well done! |

C'est fondamentalement un beau paysage aquatique. Le hardscape et la plantation sont bien choisis et bien disposés mais l'ensemble aurait bénéficié d'une taille plus judicieuse comme, par exemple, une taille en V. Le plan moyen est également un peu faible. J'aurais aimé le voir dans quelques mois après une bonne croissance de la mousse et une bonne taille. Superbe effort pour un premier bac - Bien joué ! |

a classical aquascape, except this master piece root. Unfortunately, it's not a very beautiful one, especially when the poor Java moss groves (V. dubyana) give it a kind of spectral look. The vegetal background doesn't help it. It's a pity as the front is very well done. Do not discourage this aquascaper who comes here with his first attempt in "planted tank", as he did a good job with the population (then again, where are the water parameters ?). I'm sure he will do better next time. |

Une disposition assez classique, si ce n'est cette racine qui devient la pièce-maîtresse du décor. Hélas, elle n'est pas spécialement belle, d'autant que les maigres réseaux de mousse de Java (V. dubyana) lui confèrent un aspect limite spectral.
La barrière végétale de l'arrière-plan n'arrange rien, bien au contraire. Dommage, car l'avant-plan est plutôt soigné.
Ne décourageons pas notre candidat qui réalise là son premier bac planté, d'autant qu'il a su bien gérer la partie population animale (mais là encore, quid des paramètres de l'eau ?). Nous sommes sûrs qu'il fera bien mieux la prochaine fois. |
