The layout shows nice depth. This is often difficult to accomplish when there inst an apparent hardscape. The plants look very healthy and vibrant.
The Pogostemon helferi is an interesting plant but i think it would have been nicer in the mid ground, hiding its stalky lower half. Also the repins is distracting directly in the center. I would have been served nicer if it was to one side.

Le layout présente une jolie profondeur. C'est souvent difficile à réaliser quand il n'y a pas d'Hardscape apparent. Les plantes ont l'air en très bonne santé et éclatantes. Le Pogostemon helferi est une plante intéressante mais je pense qu'elle aurait été plus jolie au second plan, pour cacher la tige de la moitié inférieure . De plus, la repens est gênante directement placée au centre. J'aurais été mieux servi si elle avait été sur un côté.

This is a very clever idea of a Dutch influenced style incorporated successfully in such a small volume. The textures work well together but I would have preferred a tighter and larger group of red stems off-center a little more. A smaller and paler grain in the open area would improve the look too. Nice job! |

Je trouve intelligente l'idée d'incorporer avec succès un style hollandais dans un si petit volume. Les textures s'accordent bien entre elles mais j'aurais préféré un massif de plante rouge plus décentré, un peu plus épais et un peu plus gros. Un substrat de couleur plus clair et de granulometrie plus fine aurait aussi bien amélioré l'aspect. Joli travail ! |

with this "green hell", this tank seems more inspired by "Dutch Style Tank" than by Amano. You can feel that the plants have settled the whole hardscape. This shows the talent of the aquascaper who takes care of the vegetals. They all are healthy and full growing. On the other hand, I feel a lack of gardening. Cutting or pruning a bit would have allowed to free a few zones. This would have give more relief and would have reinforce the globality. 12 liters for shrimps only is a very good idea. But is the mix of 2 different forms of Caridina cf cantonensis very well advised ? You must be carefull about the hybridation risk. You could loose the original caracteristics with time. Doing his homework, the aquascaper will soon be able to run the CAPA again, and to show a very beautiful tank. |

Avec cet "enfer vert", cet aquarium semble plus inspiré par l'aquarium hollandais que par la vision d'Amano, par exemple. Ainsi, on a l'impression que les plantes ont littéralement colonisé le décor. D'un côté, cela montre le talent de l'auteur qui prend soin des végétaux, tous en bonne santé et en pleine expansion. Toutefois, d'un autre côté, on a la curieuse impression qu'il manque un peu de "jardinage". En effet, en élaguant ici ou là quelques plantes, il aurait été assez facile de dégager des zones libres donnant plus de relief et de force à l'ensemble du décor.
12 litres consacrés uniquement aux invertébrés, c'est une excellente idée. Toutefois, le mélange de deux formes différentes de Caridina cf. cantonensis est-il judicieux, sur le long terme ? Attention aux risques "d'hybridation" qui peuvent ne pas donner forcément ce que l'on attend et ainsi perdre certaines caractéristiques au fil du temps.
Avec un peu de travail, notre auteur pourra vite concourir à nouveau et proposer un très beau bac. |
