Intéressante utilisation du bois et de la pierre. J'aime l'Eusteralis stellata, et l'emplacement et l'aspect de la HC et de Riccardia graeffei sont brillants. Le layout est un petit peu lourd d'un côté. Tellement, que sur la photo principale on dirait qu'on regarde dans l'aquarium par le côté. On dirait que la vue la plus agréable de ce layout est de le voir d'un des angles du bac; malheureusement, c'est difficile à dire avec la distorsion des coins de l'aquarium. |

Interesting use of rock and wood. I love the Eusteralis stellata and the placement and look of the HC and Riccardia graeffei is brilliant.
The layout is a little heavy on one side. So much, that the main picture looks as if you were looking into the tank from the side. It looks like the most pleasing view of this layout is from an angle, unfortunately, the distortion of the corners of the tanks makes it difficult to tell. |

Un paysage très bien réalisé couvrant la plupart de la hauteur qui est l'axe principal de ce bac. La zone dégagée de la plage de sable rend bien mais j'aurais préféré qu'il soit plus propre pour la photo. L'E. stellata rend particulièrement bien dans une si petite configuration et j'apprécie qu'elle n'ai pas viré au rouge. Bien joué ! |

A very well executed aquascape making the most of the tall nature of the tank. The open-sand area works well but I would have prefered to have seen it cleaner for the final photo. The E. stellata work particularly well for such a small layout and I like that is has not gone red. Well done! |

Bac magnifique... et d'à peine 18 litres bruts ! C'est l'exemple parfait pour démontrer qu'un nano-aquarium bien maîtrisé a autant de force qu'une cuve de 600 litres.
Les tiges retombant d'Eusteralis stellata soutenues par une racine donne une impression de berge naturelle. De même, cela crée un sentiment de profondeur. Pour ajouter à la perspective, le "designer aquatique" a eu l'idée de contrebalancer cet effet de hauteur en disposant des roches artificielles au pied de cette racine/massif de plante. Roches artificielles elles-mêmes colonisées par H. callitrichoides "Cuba" progressivement remplacé par la jolie mousse Riccardia graeffei. Le choix est judicieux, puisqu'on a de suite l'impression d'être en face d'un aquarium tournant depuis longtemps et que la nature s'est réapproprié. Malgré cet aspect "retour à la nature", on sent toutefois la main de l'Homme qui entretient régulièrement son jardin aquatique.
Boraras brigittae est un bon choix pour un petit volume, maintenu en groupe suffisant pour ne pas être stressé, ce qui semble être le cas ici. Par contre, dans une eau au pH de 7,5 et au KH de 8, ce n'est pas la meilleure espèce pour une maintenance à long terme et pour la voir présenter pleinement ses couleurs puisque dans une eau douce et acide, la présence de rouge est alors particulièrement soutenue.
Rien à dire pour les CPO.
Un excellent travail et une parfaite maîtrise du décor pour ce bac. |

great tank... and it's only 18 liters ! This is the perfect example that a well controlled nano-tank is as powerfull as a 600 liters tank. Falling stems of Eusteralis stellata, helped by a root, give a very natural bank impression. It gives also a depth feeling. Helping perspective, the aquascaper had the great idea to balance this heigh effect by placing rocks at the bottom of this plants grove. The rocks are covered by H. callitrichoides "Cuba", slowly replaced by this very pretty Riccardia greffei moss. This choice is clever, as you immediatly feel you have an old and balanced tank, where nature has taken her place. Although this "back to nature" feeling, you can see that the "gardener touch" is regularly present too. Boraras brigittae is a good choice for this small volume, when held in a sufficient shoal, which seems to be right in this case. On the other hand, with such water parameters (pH 7.5, KH 8), it's definitely not the best specie for a long term maintenance. You won't see him show his full colors, as in a soft and acidic water, he will present a very deep red color. Nothing to say for the CPO. Excellent job, with a perfect control of the hardscape for this tank. |
