The contrast of the glosso and the tenellus is very pleasing. The rocks are also a nice texture and shape.
The unity between the rocks is not there for me. The main left rock formation and the main right rock formation are too similar in size confusing my eye to where to start in the layout. |

Le contraste entre la glosso et la tenellus est très plaisant. Les pierres ont aussi une jolie texture et forme. Pour moi il n'y a pas d'unité entre les rochers . La principale formation de pierres sur la gauche, et la principale formation de pierres sur la droite, sont trop similaires en taille, et mon oeil se demande où commencer dans le layout. |

Nice Iwagumi with good plant selection. A larger main stone with more height would benefit this layout. The glosso works well but appears to be a little overgrown resulting in some browning areas. The overexposed backlighting left area in the background is distracting. |

Un joli Iwagumi avec une bonne sélection de plantes. Une pierre plus grande et plus haute aurait bénéficié à ce layout. Le tapis de Glossostigma rend bien, mais il semble un peu trop haut (pas assez taillé) et il en résulte des zones plus sombres. La zone de surexposition sur le retro-éclairage attire trop le regard. |

Another beautiful tank where hardscape is full controlled. the plants are very healthy and the gardening is very well done. Everything would be perfect if I hadn't a doubt on the health of the fishes... Nothing to say for Trigonostigma espei, but what's the matter with Boraras brigittae ? Difficult to say on a picture base, bue fishes staying in the upper corner of the tank is probably a very important stress sign. Maybe it's because the elements of hardscape are on the bottom, except the rocks, and those are already settled by the T. espei... Not a piece of territory for the B. brigittae which are driven to the upper corner... You should take them away from this tank and replace them by another specie, more rough or more "bottom living" like many Characidae (Paracheirodon spp for example). It's a wonderfull tank in the end. Kudos. |

Encore un beau bac où le décor est parfaitement maîtrisé.
Les végétaux sont en excellente santé et le "jardinage" est effectué de main de maître.
Tout serait parfait s'il n'y avait pas ce doute concernant la santé des poissons. Rien à dire pour Trigonostigma espei, mais qu'en est-il de Boraras brigittae ? Difficile à dire, mais des poissons qui restent dans l'angle supérieur de l'aquarium, c'est souvent un signe de stress. Cela est sans doute dû au fait que les éléments sont tous au ras du sol, à l'exception des roches, celles-ci étant déjà occupées par les espei. Bref, peu de territoire pour les brigittae qui se retrouvent cantonnés en surface. Un conseil : retirez-les et préférez une espèce moins peureuse ou tout bonnement qui fréquenterait la zone inférieure, à l'instar de nombreux Characidés (Paracheirodon spp. notamment).
Allez, il s'agit quand même d'un bac magnifique. Bravo ! |
