Very nicely laid out wood and rock. The glosso creates a beautiful effect of depth as it grows in between the nicely placed rocks. The moss is very complimentary to the layout and creates a nice contrast on the wood.
The green macrandra and the indica could have been more prominent in the field of myriophyllum. Also the two fingers of wood in the dead center of the layout are a little strong, choking the middle of the layout.
Nice layout.

Très joli arrangement du bois et de la pierre. La glosso crée un bel effet de profondeur en poussant entre des rochers bien placés. La mousse est très complémentaire au layout et crée un beau contraste sur le bois. La macrandra verte et l'indica pourraient être plus proéminentes dans le champ de myriophyllum. De plus les 2 doigts de bois au point de fuite sont un petit peu imposants, étouffant le milieu de la composition. Joli layout. |

This is beautiful! The hardscape combination is marvellous with the glosso growing over just the right amount. The moss works very well to blend textures and create a sense of maturity and the stem plants add further texture and colour. It all work extremely well together. Super job! |

C'est beau ! La combinaison des différents éléments du hardscape est merveilleuse avec la glossostigma juste à la bonne hauteur. La mousse s'accorde très bien au sein du mélange de textures et crée un sensation de maturité. Les plantes à tiges rajoute encore plus de diversité de textures et de couleurs. Tout cela s'accorde extrêmement bien. Super boulot ! |

I like this layout, it compose look like a bigger size tank, if it could prune more layer on the background stem plant would increase th depth of field. |

Another wonderfull tank that shows that "less is more". In this case "more is more" is correct too ! I can find a lot of rocks and roots. But there is no feeling of heaviness as the aquascaper has the very good idea to settle them in the bottom half of the tank. I felt like I was wandering in the woods, where the grass settles between pebbles and roots at the trees feet. A total control of the light algae covering the stones, giving the whole a very nice "old time" feeling. Very well done ! The plantation is perfect, the elements gracefully disposed. On the other hand, if T. albonubes and P. gelius are from quite cold waters (10 to 24°C), it's absolutely not the case of H. pulchripinnis, from the Tapajos (Brazil) where temperatures are usually higher (23-30°C). These species shouldn't be maintained together on a long term vision. |

Encore un bac magnifique et qui montre également que si "moins, c'est plus", "plus, c'est plus" est également juste !
En effet, on a là foison de racines et roches. Et pourtant, il n'y a aucune impression de lourdeur car l'auteur a eu l'excellente idée de les réserver à la moitié inférieure de l'aquarium. Résultat, on se croirait en pleine balade forestière, où l'herbe colonise les galets et racines au pied des arbres. Maîtrise totale également de ces éléments minéraux légèrement recouverts d'algues loin d'être disgracieuses, et qui donnent au contraire un aspect d'ancienneté à l'ensemble. Chapeau bas !
La plantation est parfaite, les éléments disposés de manière harmonieuse.
Par contre, si T. albonubes et P. gelius fréquentent des eaux plutôt fraîches (10 à 24°C), ce n'est pas le cas de H. pulchripinnis, originaire du cours inférieur du rio Tapajos (Brésil) où les températures sont habituellement plus élevées (23 à 30°C). Ce sont des espèces qui ne devraient donc pas être maintenues ensemble sur le long terme. |
